Do you need help incorporating GIS data into your CAD workflow? Do you want live updates from your field crew on your desktop? Wish that you could edit and send CAD/Civil 3D data back to your GIS environment easily? Explore with us the exciting new options available through the ever-improving Autodesk and ESRI partnership.

There are two connectors for accomplishing the sharing of GIS data between the ESRI and Autodesk environments. First, we will explore the Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS that directly connects to Civil 3D Objects. Second, we will explore ESRI’s free plug-in, ArcGIS for AutoCAD (Version 410), that connects directly to AutoCAD objects. Using a combination of these connectors, you will enhance the value of your data as well as boost your productivity and project functionality by incorporating dynamic GIS data into your workflows.

Getting timely updates from the field crew can be critical. See a workflow that leverages the ESRI Field Map tools for live data capture from the field to the office.

Example workflows of the connectors will use simple, straight forward data schemas. Tips and tricks will be shown for troubleshooting real world, "messy" data. Focus will be on data relevant to Digital Twins and the AEC industry.
